CROSSINGS/ Photo essay by Dana Levy Shot along the Mexico – Arizona border where men, women and children, migrants and asylum seekers, cross the desert illegally and leave behind items such as water bottles, camoflage clothings, and other personal items. Samaritans and other volunteers leave drinking water along the migrant trails. Bright colored crosses have been errected where bodies have been found. More than 3000 migrant bodies have been found in Southern Arizona since 2001
